Description

Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo is used to treat and prevent dandruff and dry or greasy scaling of the scalp (seborrhoeic dermatitis), which is a more severe kind of dandruff. The shampoo contains ketoconazole, which is an antifungal that targets an increased number of yeasts on the skin called Malassezia.

These yeasts occur naturally on everyone’s skin, however, people with dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis seem to have more Malassezia. The shampoo also treats the inflammation associated with dandruff, relieving scalp redness and itching. This product is for use in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Directions for Use

• Wet Hair
• Shake the bottle
• Apply a small amount to the scalp
• For best results leave on the scalp for  3-5 minutes.
• Dermatologically tested
• Fragrance-Free
• For a healthier scalp
• For the first 2-4 weeks: use every 3-4 days to clear dandruff.
• Thereafter: use once every one or 2 weeks to keep dandruff away.

Caution

• If your scalp has not cleared after 4 weeks, you may not have dandruff and should seek further advice from your pharmacist and doctor.
