ACNECIDE 5% GEL

Description

Acnecide is a gel that effectively treats the cause of Acne. This product does so by attacking the bacteria that causes Propioni bacterium acne within the Skin. Acnecide gel uses benzol peroxide to fight against acne of the face, chest and back. This product contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide which is 5% w/w.

What causes Acne? Acne occurs when glands near the surface of the skin produce too much sebum which is a type of oil designed to lubricate the skin and stop it from drying out. This excess sebum builds up on the surface with dead skin cells and plugs the pores. Once blocked pores can become infected resulting in acne. A common change in the skin’s production of sebum can be caused by a change in hormone levels. It is believed that an increase in testosterone during puberty is the cause of acne in teenagers. Acne can also occur for women around their period or during pregnancy due to a fluctuation in their hormone levels. While there are many causes of Acne such as diet hormone level and medication. Some believe that acne occurs because of poor hygiene. This is untrue. Cleansing and toning the skin with intense products will not cure acne it may actually make it worse when using very abrasive products.

Directions for use: The product can be used by both adults and children and is suitable for use on the face chest and back. Wash the affected skin area thoroughly before use. Do so by using a mild cleanser or water then pat dry. Apply the gel once or twice daily to the affected areas. This dosage may be reduced if you have sensitive skin. Do not use this product if you are allergic or have a hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Cease using the product if adverse reactions occur. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth angles of the nose and other mucous surfaces such as the lining of your nose. If accidental contact should occur rinse thoroughly with warm water. Acnecide should not be applied to damaged skin.

When will I see results? The length of time you need to use Acnecide gel will depend on how quickly your condition improves. We recommend consulting your doctor after one month of use should your condition do not improve. They will be applied to assess your condition and advice further treatment should it be required.

Storage of product: Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not store this product above 25ºC.
